Stories Back from the Read 2013 | The Contestants, the Votes, and the Interviews

Welcome fillies and gentlecolts to Stories Back from the Read 2013! We are honored to bring you this exciting contest featuring the amazing works of four spectacular authors. Before anything though, the post below contains the contestants of this year's contest, details dealing with the voting process, and last but not least, an important announcement regarding the winner. So without further ado....

With excellent scene visualization and plot, JawJoe's Twilight Sparkle: Night Shift is an imaginative horror/adventure that fans of the genre are bound to enjoy. The freak-of-the-week combined with an engaging overall arc style of the plot line is done brilliantly. World building is done just as well as it picks up where the My Little Pony Season Two finale left off. It doesn't interrupt the story by giving you a long and boring history lesson and instead ties in with the story progression, driving things along excellently. Overall, Twilight Sparkle: Night Shift is a well done story and is well deserving of its 7.5 out of 10 here on Problematic Reviews.

Twilight Sparkle: Night Shift received a score of: 7.5 out of 10 - Solid

Nominated for outstanding dialogue and characterization of the Mane 6, theswimminbrony's Your Beutifull steals the show when it comes to shipfics. Its comedic plot line keeps the story progressing without a dull moment  with some good humor from the situation and dialogue. Dialogue is beautifully done and feels smooth and organic. The main cast doesn't fall out of character and do so without exaggerating their personalities. Your Beutifull is well deserving of its 7.8 out of 10 here on Problematic Reviews

RavensDagger's epic adventure involving menacing villains, vast empires and an ambitious rebellion, Of Steam Gears and Wings is no less superb than it is fineness in its execution. The characterization of the Cutie Mark Crusaders and the other original cast members is excellent and is backed by solid dialogue that flows beautifully. I greatly enjoyed Of Steam Gears and Wings and believe it is well deserving of its 8.2 out of 10 here on Problematic Reviews

Last but definitely not least is the beautifully done Freeze Frame by the talented ToixStory. The cast of original characters is magnificently crafted with Grapevine and Minty Flower leading a dramatic performance that rocked the stage throughout the character-driven episodic plot line. The dialogue is superb as it reflects the characters with fineness and excellence. Freeze Frame steals the show with one of the highest scores here on Problematic Review ever to be given.
