News Update - May 28: Review Queue, Policy Changes, and 1000 Views Special

Good afternoon fillies and gentlecolts of the Internet! As you all know, it's been a week since we launched the Problematic Reviews Network and its website. I am glad to announce this endeavour has met incredible success! A massive thank you to all of you who follow the reviews and our newest series, Spoiler-licious-ness. Stay tuned for some announcements and a sneak peek at our latest project, all below the break!

No Review This Week - New Spoiler-licious-ness
Remember I pumped out like two reviews and an article last week? The reason? I have to take a small leave of absence this week due to my studies and stuff along those lines. However, I soon as I'm back there will be a new Spoiler-licious-ness.

What is Spoiler-licious-ness you might ask? In a few words, it's an article series dedicated to studying and analysing some of the fandom's topics. Along with discussing fanfics, we'll bring in guests relating to, conduct interviews, and research that week's topic. Click the "Spoiler-licious-ness" tab on the header bar to check it out. Coming up for next week's topic: Could Clopfics Fall Under Pornographic Material? The answer is more complex than you might think.

Reviews and Requests
As of now, review requests are closed due to an extremely long queue. I am working as hard as I can to burn through them and as a result, there have been twelve reviews published and fifteen stories awaiting review. Not bad. Now my goal for this summer, starting next week, is to floor it on reviews so when the Second of July comes out I can reopen the requests. You heard that right boys and girls! I will accept five stories (maybe more) for review on July 2nd! Spread the word!

Requests will reopen on the Second of July

Policy Changes
This has something to do with the new website and launch of the network. Requests will now have a written policy found under the "Reviews on Request" tab. Things about permission to review and crap. It's all rather silly. Nothing too major, just writing it down instead of just having the "personal policy" I've been waving around. You'll see it when it comes out.

Reviewers for Hire
Nope. Not exactly. I am looking for staff, however. I'm looking for mostly editors and the likes. Send me an email at admujicareviews@gmail.com if you are interested. Don't leave though! If you want your reviews posted here, check out the next point!

1000 Views Special - The Freelancer Initiative

Sweet Celestia! Within one week the website has gotten to over 1000 views! Needless to say, my mind was completely blown. Thanks guys for helping us reach this spectacular milestone!

You guys ready for a views milestone special? I've been wanting to do this for a while. You see, when I first started, the critic's group I attempted to join turned down my application. Although I still wish I could've joined that group, I found going indie like the renowned reviewer Chris from One Man's Pony Ramblings was loads more fun. The problem is, independent reviewers don't get a lot of publicity. See where I'm going with this? The Freelancer Initiative is for critics who don't want to join a group, but need the publicity to get off their feet. It's a mutual advertisement deal to supplement growth on the indie reviewers scene. Interested? Email me at admujicareviews@gmail.com. The Freelancer Initiative launches June 11 right here on the Problematic Network.
